N.Y. They both were about 18 and had there own bands. Burnshee had "The Lame Flames", playing rock with a touch of funk and Hendrix, and Thornside had a jazz ensemble playing Bebop and 60's cool
jazz. The two bands started jamming after the shows, that's when Thornside, after a few beers, tried to sing. Burnshee liked what he heard and approached the young Thornside afterwards and asked them
if they could play again, maybe try to form a new band, with Thornsides trumpet and singing together with Burnshees Hendrix guitar. Thornside didn't mind at all. And so it all began.
